Who would say no to discounted airfare to get them from point A to Point B or to make their wildest dream come true? The concept is acceptable by all travelers and discounts are things that many travelers embrace with open arms, but what if they come with strings attached?
Supplying discounted airfare was so much in demand that many airlines came up with different schemes. Some of these schemes did not provide any upfront advantage for the traveler, at all. As a result many travelers sought help from online ticketing agencies who provide better rates than the airline itself.
Frequent traveler scheme is one of the ways in which airlines offered discounted airfare. Whenever a traveler purchases an airfare, they would accumulate points in their membership card. When the points reach a certain level, they are able to redeem points as a discounted airfare.
